Drawing board, T-Square, Drafter (Drafting M/c), Set Squares, Protractor.
Drawing Instrument Box (Compass, Dividers, Scale, Diagonal Scales etc).
Pencils of different Grades, Drawing pins / Clips.

Employability Skills

Hard skills are a person’s skill set and ability to perform a certain type of activity or task. Soft skills are a person’s ability to interact effectively with co-workers and customers. Hard skills are mainly applicable at the work place. Soft skills are broadly applicable both at and outside the work place. Soft skills complement the hard skills which are occupational requirement of a job. It also complements many other activities even outside the work place. Presently soft skills are increasingly sought out by employers in addition to standard qualification.

Unit: Systems of unit- FPS, CGS, MKS/SI unit, unit of length, Mass and time, Conversion of units

Fractions : Fractions, Decimal fraction, L.C.M., H.C.F., Multiplication and Division of Fractions and Decimals, conversion of Fraction to Decimal and vice versa. Simple problems using Scientific Calculator.

Square Root : Square and Square Root, method of finding out square roots, Simple problem using calculator.

Core skills enhance knowledge, Analytical ability, problem solving ability, understanding or comprehending drawings & designs and also enriches on scientific principles. At the same time it creates the base for achieving Hard skills. To carry out any skill related task the know how about basic science & related calculation is essential as it helps in scientific way of executing the task.
